Prices are going up soon, here's why.
Hi Poppy Scrubs Family,
TLDR: the cost of materials, shipping and software have increased massively in the past few years. We are nurse funded and nurse led, and want to remain that way, so we will be raising our prices on January 15th. Check out our new website and let us know what you think here.

It's hard to believe it's been over three years since we launched Poppy Scrubs. We've come so far despite all the craziness in the world, and we are so grateful to all of you for shopping with us, and helping us grow.
When I started this company, I didn't know anything about building a brand or running a website. I was still trying to figure out what people who don't work in medicine do all day (meetings and emails? all day?) I've learned a lot since then about building a product and a brand, working with a factory and a warehouse, and most importantly how expensive it is to run a business that prides itself on superior quality, premium fabric, and top-tier customer service.
We really mean it when we say we put you first, always. We don't have any fancy investors or board of directors to answer to, just our customers. There are a lot of companies out there that sell cheap rebranded crap and paste their logos on a stock product to make a buck and move on.
That's not us.
We're more interested in creating the best scrubs and providing the best customer experience we can. We always think about the product first - and the numbers second. If I wasn't proud of what I made, I wouldn't put my name on it. Poppy never would have made it out of the development phase.
Here's the point: we've invested a ton of our heart, soul, and life savings in building the best scrubs in the world - and we've never charged enough for them. All our competitors charge more, for an inferior product. Over the three years we've been making scrubs, the cost of fabric, labor, shipping, and software have gone up immensely. So I'm writing to let you know that there are changes coming to our pricing as we intend to stay bootstrapped and nurse-run, rather than taking on investors. We want to continue to answer to you, not the banks.
The following changes will go live on January 15th:
(1) The price on the the Bodie, Pfeiffer and Hatton Pants will be increasing to $48, compared to $45 today. All the pants will continue to incorporate the same reinforced construction and liquid repelling technology.
(2) The Wilder and Caswell Tops will be increasing to $38, compared to $35 today. And again, the quality won't change.
Exchange requests will be honored at their original purchase price.
(3) We've redesigned our website too, and would love to hear your thoughts - click on the red "Feedback" tab on the website to let us know what you think.
I know that's a lot, but we're adapting to the changing world so we can continue to bring you fantastically comfortable scrubs that work as hard as you do.
The price changes haven't hit yet, so if you've been thinking about getting set pair of scrubs, now is the time to grab them, prices go up in a few short days.
With warmth and gratitude,
Natalie BSN, RN, CCRN
